hi i have a saab 9000 cd 2.3 turbo automatic petrol i could not get it to start today was working fine last night i checked all the fluids and the radiator tank was empty so i filled it up and it started str8 away i left it running then stopped and filled it up again as it was bone dry the first time and most of the water had been used to cool it down any way all was well and it started but the now i have white smoke coming out of the exhaust i drove the car round the block felt normal but i could see this line of white smoke behind me the smoke is thick and smelld like water .... its like steam from a kettle or something has nevr done this before and am a little concerned i live in new zealand and its been very hot here so water goes quite quick i may also have a small leak from the water tank as i have a small puddle in the morning on the garge floor but this has never caused white smoke before please help my car is due for its W.O.F in 2 weeks

If your losing engine oil, it might be your piston rings are worn, needs replacing
If your losing coolant, it might be the headgasket gone.

It is a blown head gasket - definitely.
