i have a Saab 9-5 and when the engine is running it sounds like a vacuum, its a stick shift and as you change gears the sound gets louder. any info on the noise will help. thanks.

drive it on one gear until the red line and if it gets supper loud right away then its your engine, if it gets louder by how fast your going then its your transmission.
