So far the insurance company has quoted a bit over 3k for repairs and they expect it to go up more when they can open the hood. The front right head light /housing was destroyed, and the bumper unit and holder was shifted back about 2 inches. It's mostly cosmetic damage. Are saabs really expensive to fix or what?

Yes any Foreign car is more expensive than an American Made car...It's just how it works...

I own a saab 9-3 conv. They are a very expensive car to fix...no matter how major or how minor the problem is. Get on the web and look for saab parts (used) that will save you some money. From experience DO NOT USE AFTER MARKET PARTS on your saab they DO NOT FIT PROPERLY. Do you have a list of everything that needs replaced if so my saab club has many different soures for parts. Hope this helps
