00 saab 9-3 se turbo , short ram intake question, please help?

00 saab 9-3 se turbo, high output 2.0 4 banger turbo, 205 hp stock , wondering if i would see any difference in acceleration if i put a short ram intake on it from like autozone or something like that, another question is it does 0-60 in 7.27 sec how much time would be shaved off of that with the intake??

Any improvement in the air intake can improve the acceleration. However The air should not be coming from an area near the engine. It should be coming from outside of under hood. The air underneath the hood is hot and contaminated. Built and run large air tube to area where the existing air intake is. This is called cold air system which can be easily built. You need to use different tubes and attach them to route it outside the engine compartment. You will then get much better acceleration automatically.
