Clutch feels like it might go so i called a local mechanic he said he could fix it for around 830 dollars is that a good deal? Carfax is clean one owner lived in NJ moved to NC took car for regular oil changes? How much more years can i get from this car?

Saab parts are expensive. Getting work done is expensive.
Consider that the car was all built at the same time, when one thing starts to go, usually other things are to fallow. Now clutches are one of those things that will need replaced, so that shouldn't really be too much of a concern. At 140 000 miles i'm sure there will be other things that are on their way out though. If your looking at a car with that many miles i'm going to say you don't have alot of money to spend on a car. Don't buy outside your means. If you don't have alot of money for your car then your not going to have alot of money for repairs. get something that was a little more mass produced, the parts are cheaper and more mechanics know how to work on common cars. If you want sport/luxery, wait until you can afford it, and get a newer used one that will last more than a year without needing work.
