Can anyone suggest a good starter mod for a 2000 Saab 9-3 SE?

I'm currently deciding between a Saab Sport Exhaust, an ECU upgrade, or perhaps even an intake or intercooler. I'd like to add some sound and HP with about a $1200 budget. Open to any other suggestions (it's obviously a turbo by the way)...

i put a full 2.75'' exhaust deleted my cat manual boost controller cold air intake and seleted the o2 sensor too compensate for the more fuel needed cheap and somewhat iffy mod but ive ran 15psi for a year now with no harmful changes
