Are all years(1999-2007) for Saab 9-5 blower motors compatible?

I have an early year 2000 SAAB that needs a replacement blower motor. Are the motors from all of the years they made the motors compatible or are their different motors for different model years. I have heard both are correct. HELP!!

The motor did not substanitally change for the life-cycle of the car. However, Saab tweeked the engine throughout the life of the car. It is hard to tell you if a different year will work for your car without knowing the specific year you are looking for.

However, there is a website that can help you that I have used in the past to figure this out. Go to:

The link I provide is for blower motors for the 1999 model year, and it lists on that page the years the part was unchnaged for the different engines sold on the 9-3 and 9-5 series. Pick a different year, get different ranges of unchanged parts. At best, this will give you a safe idea on which years will be compatible on the car you are asking about with confidence.
