I am looking at both of these cars for my first car- both are excellent options (both are from before their respective companies were taken over by GM or Ford), and I can't seem to choose one over the other.
The volvo 850 turbo has slightly better acceleration and I think a nicer interior, and is also reputably safer. I love the 5-cylinder engine.
However, the Saab 9000 CSE (turbo) has pretty decent acceleration, looks nicer (IMO), and is supposedly more reliable.
Both will cost in the $2500-$3000 range for a decent one. So... which one would YOU choose, and why?
