in my saab 9.5 3.3t. the heater only blows to the windscreen,ihave trid changing

to feetwell comes up in? display as blowing to feet,but still only blows to windscreen,heater and blower working fine but cant change direction of heat,can anyone please help

If the system is vacuum controlled. You may have a vacuum leak. Most systems default to defrost if the system fails. I would check for that first.

Most common reason for air distribution flap is that the motor drive shaft has backed out. Remove glovebox and the motor(upper) you may find that you can turn the output shaft and gears but not the motor. remove cover, push the brass color saft back into the motor. Or replace unit with used from junked car. Possible for the flap to back away from the motor asm. but not so likely. Only the temp flaps break.
