I'm getting a 2009 Saab 9-3 2.0t. I'm going to put about 2,500 dollars into the car in upgrades. I know I want to add a performance exhaust, and I've been looking into the BSR PPC tuning system, but not quite sure how it works and how much it costs. Thanks.

Please go to Maptune.com or search it, and you will find the best tuner for saab's!!

the PPC unit is very easy to handle and all instructions are coming with it, but i would consider other tuners then BSR for your car, Maptune is an couple levels higher then BSR on there stages and also i think have more to offer in high performance then BSR, they have also an programmer as BSR have and i think they are cheaper then BSR. PM me and i will tell you more about it.

Hey man,
Its nice to see more and more Saab fans mod the cars. Just to let you know, $2500 dollars in a perfect amount to put into this car, with the right mods. I have a 300 horsepower 2005 9-3 and the BEST place to get your mods at would be Genuinesaab.com. For just a hair under $1500, you can get a full catback performance exhaust and a downpipe, and a Nordic Stage 3 tune. That brings your power from 210hp and 221lb/ft of torque, all the way up to 275hp and 300lb/ft of torque. NO other mods are needed. I have those mods and they are astounding! BSR is more expensive and doesnt push as much power. The only other thing you could add optionally, not required, would be their performance intercooler. It is going to be available within the next couple months, but isnt needed. I have the stage 4 products and i didnt have an intercooler until a few weeks ago, when i finished making my own. The car is SUPER fast and I really think that you would only need the intercooler if you live in an arid and hot area and push the car hard all the time. Nick, over at Genuine Saab says the intercooler should be available around May or early June and it should cost around $900. Again, the intercooler isnt really life or death important unless you are running mods like in the Stage 4 or 5 and you plan on pushing the car hard 24/7. Hope this helps, sorry for the long post If you have any questions or anything just let me know. I love saabs and i work on them quite a bit. Enjoy.
